OUR WEDDINGS
Below are a few examples of previous weddings we have organised.
A Stylish Marquee Wedding
The Bride and Groom chose to have their wedding celebrations in a marquee in
the grounds of their country house. The Bride travelled to the nearby parish
church in a gorgeous horse drawn carriage, whilst the guests were
transported by coach from local hotels. The marquee and church were
extensively adorned with lavish floral arrangements created by the Bride's
mother and her relatives and friends. Additional plants and shrubs were
hired and a lighting company provided both interior and exterior lighting
and special effects. Background music was provided by a pianist during the
drinks reception and wedding breakfast. In the evening, the 164 guests were
entertained by the Bride and Groom who performed live with their own band.
Rather than having a typical evening buffet, the guests enjoyed fish and
chips served from a traditional fish and chip van outside the marquee. A
beautiful day for a beautiful couple!

An "East Meets West" Wedding Set in the Heart of Somerset
This couple were based in Singapore but wanted to get married in the UK. We
had five months to plan the wedding which combined the cultures and
traditions of both England and Singapore. The ceremony and reception took
place at a privately owned country house on an exclusive use basis. The day
started with the couple greeting their guests, dressed in traditional Malay
wedding outfits. Organised Events arranged for an elaborate Malay throne to
be built on which the couple sat and had photos taken. They then changed
into traditional English wedding attire for the ceremony and reception.
Guests were entertained by a string quartet and comedy waiters. Prior to the
evening reception, the bride and groom changed once more; this time into
stunning evening dress. The evening entertainment included a disco with
amazing internal and external lighting effects and an outstanding firework
display.

A Stylish Autumnal Wedding
An English Bride, an American groom and over 140 guests from all over the
world. Five days of celebrations starting in London and moving on to a
castle in the country. A candle lit church ceremony was followed by a
champagne drinks reception on the terraces and dinner in a marquee on the
lawns. Entertainment included horse drawn carriage rides, a string quartet,
a jazz band, a function band and a spectacular firework display.

A Relaxed Yet Elegant Wedding At Home in the Country
Pimms by the pool, followed by a ceremony under a gazebo, an Italian
influenced meal for 118 guests in a marquee on the lawns and an evening of
magical entertainment.

A Summer Wedding in Oxford
A religious ceremony in the chapel of the college where the couple first met
as students, followed by a leisurely stroll through Oxford to the reception
venue. Entertainment included a soprano singer during the drinks reception
and Ceilidh dancing in the evening. (140 guests).

A Jewish Blessing
100 guests participated in a magical evening Blessing in a romantic 19th
century Italianate Orangery. Guests were given lanterns and made their way
along a path lined with flaming torches to reach the candlelit Orangery. The
celebrations continued with cocktails and a murder mystery dinner whilst the
children enjoyed a delicious feast of their own.
